


Defining my Art in Context
Amirhossein Yaghoobi is an Iranian artist and educator from an artistic family in Tehran, where he developed an early appreciation for the arts. He began his drawing journey at the age of 13, drawing deep inspiration from the works of Renaissance and Baroque masters such as Michelangelo and Bernini Amirhossein's art uniquely blends his Persian heritage with Western traditions, reimagining the act of creating images as a means to connect with the essence of Being.

He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 2023 and is pursuing his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) there. Amirhossein completed a six-month training program at the Fabbrica di San Pietro in Vatican City, focusing on architecture, restoration, and art history.
He has also participated as an artist-in-residence at Santa Maria della Vittoria and is currently engaged at San Pancrazio in Rome. Through his art and teaching, he aims to renew the power of imagery, offering a fresh perspective on human creativity and spiritual truth.

As he moves forward, Amirhossein Yaghoobi envisions a dynamic expansion of Persian art research, embracing a compelling global perspective through exhibitions, publications, and multimedia platforms. His journey lays the foundation for transformative cultural projects and deeper artistic discovery, inviting others to explore the rich dialogue between tradition and innovation.
